Job Summary:
Priverion is seeking a highly motivated Data Protection Consultant to join our dynamic team. As a Data Protection Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to our clients on privacy and data protection laws, policies, and best practices. You will be a subject matter expert on all aspects of data protection and work closely with our clients to ensure their compliance with legal requirements and industry standards. REMOTE AND FLEXIBLE WORK POSSIBLE. Part-time (60%+) possible. Additional bonus program in place.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice to clients on privacy and data protection laws, regulations, and best practices
- Conduct privacy assessments and gap analyses to identify potential risks and non-compliance issues
- Develop and implement privacy policies, procedures, and training programs for clients
- Manage and maintain client relationships, including providing ongoing support and guidance
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure privacy and data protection requirements are integrated into business processes and systems
- Stay updated on the latest developments in privacy and data protection laws and regulations
- Build and maintain a network of professionals in the privacy and data protection field
Requirements:
- Masters's degree in Law or related field
- Up to 3 years of experience in privacy and data protection
- Familiarity with national and international privacy laws, including GDPR, Swiss FADP: US law is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter which takes ownership of tasks and projects
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering projects
- Certified Information Privacy Professional/Manager (CIPP/M/E) certification or other data protection certification is a plus
- Interest and experience in AI Governance is a plus
- Languages: Fluent in English and German
